Tried transtar bus for my first time, TS8, to RWS via Orchard.
Reached JB custom queue at 6:32am, was told by the conductor next bus is 6:45am. I chose Tuesday to try out their normal timing.
It's 6:47am, no bus yet, and I have missed 2 950 buses.
Yup, it's here at 6:50am, I picked the top floor front row seat. It left at 7:10am.
Reached woodlands checkpoint at 7:33am. Boarded the same bus at 7:44am. Bus left checkpoint at 7:46am.
Reached Orchard, bus stop opposite Paterson Lodge at 8:24am, there is some traffic jam on the way. If not, it should be faster.
Overall, a good experience with this RM 5 ride.
